Griselda Aldrete’s practice focuses on criminal, commercial, law enforcement, discrimination, and employment litigation matters. She also has a passion for mediations, investigations and advanced dispute resolution. She is fluent in Spanish, both orally and written. Prior to joining Hansen Reynolds LLC, she held senior executive positions in corporate, government and non-profit sectors. Griselda has been a lecturer and adjunct professor teaching criminal justice and criminology at local universities and continues to teach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Griselda’s understanding of the political, legislative, regulatory, and administrative landscape in the community will provide the firm with strategic partnerships and collaborations across the firm’s footprint, in and outside of Milwaukee. Her extensive background and experiences give Griselda a unique ability to think outside the box, make connections and help parties find solutions to their interests and needs.

Griselda’s work has been recognized by the Milwaukee Business Journal (Top 40 under 40 in 2013), the United Way of Greater Milwaukee (Philanthropic 5 award), and Marquette University (College of Art and Sciences Young Alumna of the Year), among others. She was named one of Wisconsin’s top 48 most powerful Latinos. In 2015, Aldrete was selected to represent the United States as a U.S. delegate for the British American Project and most recently, in 2018, Aldrete was selected to be a Marshall Memorial Fellow for The German Marshall Fund of the United States.


6 years as an attorney. 12 years as a lecturer and adjunct instructor in the areas of criminal justice, criminology, police and society, community policing, juvenile justice, and criminal law.

Prior to joining Hansen Reynolds, LLC, Griselda was the Director of Stakeholder Engagement at Alliant Energy helping to lead and execute the company’s broadband efforts and overseeing key business initiatives while leading the company’s Social and Corporate Governance strategic efforts. Previously, Griselda was the Executive Director for the City of Milwaukee’s Fire and Police Commission. In this role, Griselda implemented public policies by defining areas of concern, identifying risks and benefits, and communicating information to key stakeholders.

Griselda was also the President and CEO of Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee (HPGM), working in coordination with the board of directors to develop and execute the vision and strategic plan for the organization at a state-wide level. She has far-reaching experience in business development, community leadership and outreach, financial oversight and managing day-to-day operations of complex organizations. She is a graduate of the National Hispana Leadership Institute Executive Leadership Fellowship and the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program.
