Biography

Jamie has substantial experience in high-stakes administrative and civil litigation, including matters requiring coordinated strategies across multiple forums. She excels at working with witnesses, technical experts, and interdisciplinary teams to develop the strongest case possible, managing the details that make litigation succeed, and positioning cases for appeal when necessary.

For nearly 15 years, Jamie has worked on a diverse mix of litigation, regulatory, and policy matters, including land remediation, water, agriculture and conservation programming, land use and zoning, and construction. A significant portion of Jamie’s work has involved natural resource disputes and local and tribal governance challenges—where the issues are time-sensitive and fact-heavy and the consequences are lasting.

In addition to litigation, Jamie has helped develop and implement regulations and enforcement strategies to address natural resource concerns more broadly, and she has worked extensively on environmental policies and reforms at the local, state, and federal levels. She also has experience developing state and federal grant and funding opportunities, leading client consultations with state and federal agencies, and spearheading negotiations involving complex jurisdictional and regulatory questions.

A Wisconsin native, Jamie enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors on the Great Lakes and hiking with her Yorkie, Moose. She also loves attending the ballet, theater, and art shows.
